FESTIVAL RECOGNITION & OFFICIAL HONORS
Following its 2026 release, Double Payday achieved international recognition across North American film festivals. Lead actor and director Taro Donatella was awarded Best Actor at the Alternative Film Festival (AltFF Toronto), where the project also secured a nomination for Best Action-Thriller / Mystery. The film continued its festival run with a nomination for Best Action-Thriller at the Toronto Couch Film Festival and was officially selected as a Finalist at the Oniros® Film Awards in New York. AAnd the official winner of the New York Movie Awards for Best Action Film.
